Salary take-home
This estimate has no personal income tax. Expats and Emiratis can include the ILOE premium. The Emirati path deducts a GPSSA or ADPF employee share and shows the employer share separately, because the employer share is not taken from pay.

Questions
What are the assumptions?
ILOE is AED 5.25 a month when basic salary is AED 16,000 or below, and AED 10.50 above that, including 5% VAT, following the iloe.ae bands. GPSSA at 5% is capped at AED 50,000 and at 11% at AED 70,000. New ADPF members at 11% are capped at AED 100,000. The older Abu Dhabi 5% path is not capped here. The 2023 employee rate is 11% for people who joined under that law; people already registered stayed at 5% unless they opted in.
Is the pension the same as gratuity?
No. This page only estimates the monthly deduction. End-of-service gratuity for expats is the other tool. Emirati end-of-service benefits are paid through the pension authority, not this formula.
